The startup time must be really painful. Do you know what's causing the crashes? It's pretty stable on my A3000. Mark is still working on it and doing a great job. Stay tuned, he's so busy with the final details of release htat he has been dodging requests for upgrades via email, etc. Sounds good. I read netnews with GNUS and just need to make a few more changes to VM for reading mail. Not too shabby! The main shortcoming is lack of process functions (e.g call-process), but I've managed workarounds for most cases. An AREXX port would sure help with that. Do you know if one's in the new version? Any other changes you can tell us about? Where can I look for an announcement of a new version? I just stumbled upon previous copies in different places. Is there an amiga-emacs mailing list? Anyone want to start one? -- Scott J. Kramer UUCP: {sun, ucbvax}!pixar!aura!sjk P.O. Box 3392 Internet: sjk@aura.nbn.com San Rafael, CA 94912
