Also, I would like to know which PD TeX works best on a 500 with a meg of memory (and two floppies- I may be getting a hard drive this summer- what is cheapest hard drive for the 500?); I currently have decided on the one distributed on the fish disk, because it seems to work best in 1 Meg, but it only has plain.fmt and virtex, which means that I cannot use LaTeX if(when) I decide it would suit my purposes better.
