I have the following problem with JR-Comm. I am not a registered user, mostly because of this problem. I'm using JR-Comm for a serial line link from my A3000 to my roommate's NeXTStation downstairs. The link is 38.4 Kbaud, the fastest the NeXT's driver can go (for now). JR-Comm seems to have serious problems with its buffering and scrolling once the screen is filled up. It seems to fequently start out in a mode where if text scrolls past the bottom of the screen, the machine either flashes its power indicator a few times and reboots or gurus (well, whatever you call it now, since they took out "guru meditation error." Sigh). It seems to be random, and once JR-Comm is able to handle scrolling properly once, it will handle things properly for the rest of the session. Any suggestions out there? -- Todd L.
