Now that I have a 9600 connection to compuserve via the merit site I was
extremely dissapointed to find that file transfers do not work.
I imagine it's because you must telnet to the site and telnet does not
provide an adequate (ie: 8 bit???) connection for xfers???

Has anyone successfully transfered files from compuserve at 9600+ from
the merit site?
