If you use the display enhancer, you'll be able to get rid of the flicker, but only approx. 800 pixels will show up since the memory on the display enhancer is limited. With the display enhancer bypassed, you will get flicker. Can't have your cake and eat it too, I suppose :-> >Got the official specs for the NEC 5D (20" multisync) right here. >max res: 1280x1024 >horiz. freq: 30KHz - 60KHz >vert. freq: 50Hz - 90Hz > >My guess would be that the NEC 5D should work because >1) superhires "comes" out the ~30KHz monitor port (right???) >2) the 5D can do 1280x400+ > >What say you of display knowledge in netland??? Sounds like a whopping moniter, (bet it would work *great* with the U. Lowell board :-)) but 1280x400 still wont look real good (unless you like flicker?) Doesn't matter much what moniter you use if the signal coming from the Amiga isn't good. CBM folks, is there a Display enhancer Enhancer in the works which will have to memory to deinterlace the 1280x400 mode? -- %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%-DOT-SIGNATURE-%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Dennis Brueni INTERNET: brueni@csgrad.cs.vt.edu
