One datapoint: I had to wait two weeks for mine, but was told that this was because I was 2nd on the list. See, the dealer has to process 1 A3000, wait for CBM to send another machine, and so forth... My dealer said that at the rate things were going, she wouldn't be done with the deal until August. On the other hand, I paid for it when I got it -- the way it worked was that CBM sent one machine, she sold it, and requested another machine. Repeat as necessary. It sounds like either your dealer is pulling a fast one or CBM has changed how things work (which *is* possible -- there was a meeting of CBM execs a couple days after I got mine, I'm told to discuss distribution problems). It's also possible that an up-front payment is required for anything past Jun 30. I'd call CBM and verify with them. I'd suspect that they can pull his plug if he's out of line. -- Todd L.
