You only need to make a simple cable and then you've got a simple and really cheap net. But be careful making the cable. I heard rumors that it's easy to blow off one of the CIAs if it's wrong. I'm currently using ParNet between my 3000 and 2000. At least I can mount each harddrive on the other machine.
