Actually, it appears that Tom (the original poster of the 'informational' message, which I never actually read but heard a little about) did so specifically to start a flamefest in c.s.a.st. My evidence for this is his post from a day or so ago in c.s.amiga.advocacy inviting everyone to move over to c.s.a.st and join in the fun....
