I have just mailed GEMFAST 1.5 off to atari.archive.umich.edu. Included are: GEMFST15.LZH GEMFAST 1.5 libraries for Sozobon, Alcyon, assembler the binary aesfast.a and vdifast.a files, with .h, docs GEMFUT15.LZH GEMFAST 1.5 utilities, extensions in C source code form GEMFXM15.LZH GEMFAST 1.5 example programs, C source code The last file includes an easy-to-use module for ``thermometer'' progress displays, similar to the Desktop's disk formatter. Read the code as well as the documentation, because the docs are wrong. :-) I have not yet located the version 1.5 GEMFSC (MadMac assembler source) file, and indeed I don't even know if Ian Lepore released it. If anybody has the sources, PLEASE make them available. (DISCLAIMER: The use of LZH does not constitute an endorsement. That is the format in which I received the files. I still consider LZH a disaster area.) On a different note, I also have the Atari XCONTROL.ACC and related files, which (finally!) has been released for those of us who don't own TT030 or Mega STE machines. If no one has yet uploaded that archive, I can send it. I'm running it right now under TOS 1.4 and, so long as I don't let it load the TT and STE-specific sound and window color CPX modules, it works fine. ---- Steve Yelvington steve@thelake.mn.org
