This won't be for another year or two though. Right now we are evaluating terminal emulators to use on our VAX and 8 unix hosts. Ideally this terminal emulator should be the same for both types of hosts. My question is what do most imaging/scanning systems support in terms of graphics protocols. Is it 240/340/REGIS, Tektronix or some kind of X application. If we had some sort of idea then we could choose a terminal emulator with that feature and avoid switching terminal emulators in the future. Of course, I realize that in two years things can change substanially and what is a graphics standard for imaging/scanning may change and that we will have to change our terminal emulator. Any info related to this subject is greatly appreciated. Wayne Mah wmah@ersys.edmonton.ab.ca Edmonton Remote Systems: Serving Northern Alberta since 1982
