I can tell you about my HP28S:
I left it somtimes in the car, one time it even ran (it processed a
large interpolation). On this day, the sun shone (shine/shone/shunt ??) really
hot, in the car it was about 65.C hot. It didn't harm to my 28, even the 
processed solution was o.k.
