Keith, the problem with the modem tax LEGEND is that every time it surfaces,
there are fears that the letters will give the FCC bright ideas... which is
probably what we DON'T need.

It would be much better if we just left well enough alone until there is a
legitimate docket number for us to reply to.

I read elsewhere that there'll be nothing to worry about until we read about
it "in PC Week or the other trades, not by electronic chain letter".  That
may be the best advice of all.
