Is anyone out there familiar with ISICAD/Calcomp/Prisma CAD devices?
 
When connecting these devices over a LAN, what media should be used?
Is IBM STP Type-1 necessary or can it also be done over UTP (PDS phone-type
wiring) ?

Incidentally, if a Synoptics concentrator LAN is used, what module should 
be used to connect this?  Is it an OSI module?  (I was told that the 
protocol used for this particular CAD system is actually based on
the OSI standard.)
