My VGA monitor is 256K VRAM VGA card with a .31mm VGA monitor. The max res is 640 X 480. The problem came after I upgrade the RAM on video board to 512K and I cannot figure the monitor at 640 X 480 X 256. I posted a question about this befor. From one of the replies, it seems that for 640 X 480 X 256 it requires a multi-sync monitor as the Horiz/Vert scanning require is lower than the normal one for VGA. Is it true? I have read the monitor manual many times, it is supposed to be able to handle 60/70Hz and 31.5-37.5kHz. Thx
