Hi, I am posting this message for a friend, I am a mac user, and don't read
this group :), so please send e-mail if you can. Here is the problem and his
configuration:

i got a message just b4 it crashed the last time "Track 0 bad or
Invalid Media, Disk Unusable"
IBM XT 4 or 8 Mhz, 640 K of ram, 2 Hard Drives, 5.25 dbl density drive,
8088 chip
running MsDos 3.21
Drive D:, the second hard disk, 20 megs

well, he basically wants to know if the hard disk can be salvaged or if
he has to buy a new one. Thanks...
