I want power, but cheap >(who doesn't!). The kind of system is something like: > > * 386-33 Mhz > * 64K cache > * 4M RAM > * 1.2M floppy > * 1.44M floppy > * 100M 20ms Hard disk > * Super VGA (monitor+card (non-interlaced)) > * At least 1 parallel & 1 serial ports Well, I'm about to find out. HD Computers sells the above with the exception of 1 MByte, 120MByte Seagate (Conner at no extra charge) and one floppy drive at $1795. After adding three Meg and a floppy drive, the tower configuration should come to $2020-2030. They have a 30 day money back guarantee, and 7 days a week toll free telephone support, so it sounds pretty good. But as I said, I'll find out. By the way, the 40 MHz version is $200 more. WOuld it be worth it? (Has anyone else bought from these people?) Also does anyone know anything about Quadram's SVGA card, or Data Expert motherboards? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Iskandar Taib | The only thing worse than Peach ala Internet: NTAIB@AQUA.UCS.INDIANA.EDU | Frog is Frog ala Peach Bitnet: NTAIB@IUBACS ! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
