I post this information after seeing (and helping) a friend install Dos5 on his computer. You don't need to boot from ANY of the 5.0 disks. Just copy all of the files to a subdirectory on your hard drive (NOT the directory you want to install it into, i.e., NOT c:\dos), and run the SETUP program from there. If you have this person's problem of having the wrong media type, us another computer to copy the files from the 3.5" disks to some 5.25" disks, THEN copy them to the hard drive of the computer receiving Dos5.
