There's a note about LOTUS in the appnotes.txt file in DOS 5.0 which
says that if you've got drivers or whatever in upper memory then you
must use the /ram option on emm386.sys.  Check out the readme file
and see if it applies to your situation.

I don't run 1-2-3 so I have no way to say what nastiness 1-2-3 produces
if you don't follow the note.
