The IIsi is more than fast enough for MIDI applications. The only problem you may encounter is when using the IIsi with System 6.0.7. Apparently the sound manager on this system could create problems with certain combinations of applications. Just use System 7, as most programs are being updated. If you're worrying about expansion, 2nd wave makes expansion chassis for the IIsi. Anyway a Sample Cell card will cost you well over $1000 so you may not be needing that many slots :-) Aron_Nelson@cup.portal.com
