My reason for asking this question is because of an idea I had. If MacX did support apple events then I envisage the following. An X client could send messages to MacX as encapsulated Apple Events. These Apple Events would then be forwarded to an appropriate application to do whatever. The whatever, I would like, is to control multi media devices, eg full motion video cards, video disks, audio channels ...etc... Thus one would have a full X workstation with concurrent display server, video server, audio server ...etc... Are my thoughts reasonable/feasible?
