Have I lost it, or is this indeed true... After turning your Classic on, hold down Command-Option-X-O until you get to the Finder. You'lll get an icon on the desktop for you ROM disk. This contains just enough information for a Classic to boot. Go into the Control Panel and set the ROM disk as the startup disk, and use the Chooser to mount your Appleshare volume. Now, when you restart, you won't have to hold the keys down, it will automatically boot off the ROM drive and mount the fileserver volume. It works fine, except when you have applications that like to write to the System Folder. Around here, we opt for just booting off a floppy so we can load a couple of inits on. But if you don't use any inits or cdevs, it's a good option. BTW, the ROM disk contains 6.0.7...
