   I am making this request on behalf of a friend who does not have
   internet access.

How would you transfer a PICT file from a MAC to a format that
Word Perfect 5.1 could read as a graphic to be included in a 
document?

I tried using AFE (Apple File Exchange) that comes with system 6.0.7
with the LCs.  I used the default translation, since it is not a
word processing document nor a text file.
The file transfered alright - it seems - but when WP 5.1
attempts to read it, it gives an 'end of file' error.
WP does recognize it as a graphic file and tries to read it in
but quickly gives a end of file error message.

I used alt-F9 (Graphics) to import the graphic.
This works for Lotus *.pic files.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
