I recently installed system 7.0 on my Mac + w/ 2.5 meg RAM (slow but I like 
the new concepts).
I've been having troubles with system 7 interfering with
the operation of "Zterm". "Zterm" remaps the keyboard to include a
"ctrl" key which is somehow defeated by running 7.
This is the only conflict I've come across so far.
