I tried to use the print handouts (6 slides per page) option for a set of slides, printing to a PostScript file, with background printing turned on. (Printing the slides themselves to file worked fine). MacDraw crashed, apparently taking out some of the window manager, after a dialog claiming the application "Unknown" died with error 25. After this, windows' did not redraw properly, and the machine crashed after I closed another application. I duplicated the problem with no other applications running. It seemed to happen as soon as Print Monitor launched. I didn't try turning off extensions, or doing this with another document. The compatability stack claims 1.1v2 is compatible. Can anyone repeat this? -- Philip Machanick philip@pescadero.stanford.edu
