It currently reads "Mon, Jun 20, 1991, 3:03 PM". I want it to read "6/20/91, 3:03 PM" or something similarly short. I tried diddling the FVAL resource in the Finder, to no avail. Please reply via e-mail (if you can't get to me via e-mail, don't sweat it, I'm sure someone will have :-). If enough people tell me they, too, want to know the answer, I'll post a follow-up.
