To whom it may concern,

Please be advised that the sources for itl2 resource
as posted on ftp.apple.com/dts/mac/system7.... are
so outdated that an attempt to assemble and install said
resource on any System7 Macintosh will surely 
result in a boot-time crash.

There are too many things wrong with that resource 
description to be listed here completely.
A few examples:

obsolete state tables for both wordwrap and word select,
incorrect sorting routines,
incorrect (for any system) header flag bits,
bad attributes set in precompiled rsrc,
etc, etc.

I certainly hope that this is not the same copy that 
Apple put on developers disks.
