There are too many things wrong with that resource description to be listed here completely. A few examples: obsolete state tables for both wordwrap and word select, incorrect sorting routines, incorrect (for any system) header flag bits, bad attributes set in precompiled rsrc, etc, etc. I certainly hope that this is not the same copy that Apple put on developers disks. yours truly, Jerzy Giergiel
