Yes, Sys7 has the ability to be very annoying with its disk requests;
when it demands a disk back that I have just Cmd-E'd and I press Cmd-.
to get rid of the message, it gets rid of the icon, telling me "blah
cannot be used because it is not in any drive."  Well, no shit it
can't be accessed; but if I want to put something from another floppy
onto it, it can be very annoying.
