Message-ID: <6367@scott.ed.ac.uk> Date: 25 Jun 91 10:05:22 GMT Organization: Centre for Cognitive Science, Edinburgh, UK Lines: 16 I am trying to edit the boot block using FEdit 3.6 and have also tried Resedit 2.1 to change the maximum number of open files field so that I can open more windows under the finder. The problem is: no matter what I do, I always end up with 0A in this field after rebooting. Does anybody know how to change this???????? Surely I have enough memory in a Mac SE30 to open up more windows than the default maximum. Nick Cobb cobbn@cogsci.edinburgh.ac.uk ** fancy footer stuff and quotes **
