I need to make sure that I can port nemacs to the NeXT before
buying the machine.  Has anyone used nemacs (wnn, and egg) on
their NeXTstation?

In principle I should be able to install X (mouse-X) and then
compile nemacs et al.; however, I'm well aware that porting
software to new machines may be difficult.

I've mentioned Nemacs since I *know* that it is a free Japanese
(Kanji) word processor.  Can anyone suggest an alternative (even
if it costs money) in the event that I am unable to get Nemacs
running?
