I happened to reboot today (power failure), and noticed that Mach only allocated 16 disk buffers, totalling 128K of RAM. (I'm running 2.0.) This seems to me to be a bit on the small side for optimal performance, given the rather large amount of memory available. What do other people think? Is this a typical BSD number? -- Geoff Kuenning geoff@ITcorp.com uunet!desint!geoff
