Since I have seen quite a bit of traffic concerning where to get DOS 5.0 at the
best price I thought that I'd post this.

There was an ad in the Wall Street Journal from Egghead Software offering
Microsoft MS-DOS 5 Upgrades for $39.99.  UPS ground is $5.00.  What you need to
do is call 1-800-EGGHEAD (1-800-344-4323) to order this.  They will only accept
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express at this number.  You will be
asked to answer about 5 questions about the computer you are going to upgrade
to DOS 5.  Be prepared to get a busy signal.  I just put the old phone on
redial and got in in about 10 minutes.  I was on hold for about another 5-10
minutes (this was at 8:45 pm on a Friday night).

Egghead also had bundles for sale.  MS-DOS 5 upgrade and a serial or PS/2
Logitech mouse $89.99.  MS-DOS 5 upgrade, Windows 3, and a serial or PS/2 
Logitech mouse 159.99.

Egghead also has the same deal for the true blue IBM DOS 5 Upgrade kit, but 
from what I've heard about this product (only upgrades true blue machines 
running true blue DOS) I can't figure out why anyone would choose it over the 
Microsoft product.
