In an earlier posting (#2884) I described how the DOS version 5 upgrade had
bombed out a friend's machine.  The solution has come from his Tandy dealer:
	1.  Disconnect your battery.
	2.  Bring in your system unit.

Apparently, what needs to be done is that the CMOS needs to be completely
cleared for the machine to reboot.  We don't even know yet that DOS version 
5 is compatible with the built in ROM DOSv3.3...We'll find that out tomorrow.
One reply (from Harrey Pullet, I think) suggested that we disconnect the hard
drive jumpers and boot from the floppy that way, and I think that will work.
I (like Harry) take no responsibility for suggesting that, and disclaim any 
resposibility for damages that might result from anything I say here.
(Sorry, it has to be done).  Anyway, there is apparently nothing in the 
upgrade package about dealing with a ROM OS, so you might want to take that
into account when you are deciding to upgrade your system......
