One thing, however, is that I find myself repeatedly forward referencing (in time, not in document!) Postscript drawings that I have not yet drawn. So my question is, does anybody have a version of the psfig macros that first checks if the ``figure=foo.ps'' foo.ps files exists, and if it doesn't, it fails soft, instead of giving up, as the original version does?
