The University has neither Disclaimer3: control over nor responsibility for the opinions of users. Hi netters, I am installing the UUCP on my Xenix. When I try to send a file from my m/c to the nearest UNIX system, I get the error message "CAN'T GET FILE STATUS FOR ". My file is queued in the /usr/spool/uucp directory, but uux encounters an error. When I try to send a file from my neighbouring UNIX to my XENIX, 10 4 677554741 2400 ASSERT ERROR PERMISSION file:BAD OPTION -- nuucp COMMANDS (uuxqt) ...error occurs I tried to debug the uux with the -x option, but could not resolve it. If anyone out there had the same encounters with UUCP, could you please e-mail to me the solution? rchattam@nyx.cs.du.edu
