I haven't tried compiling X386 yet, though. Thanks for the hint, but that didn't solve the problem. Now when I have examined the problem, the stty (when I run it from xterm) tells that mouses device is set to 1200baud! When I set it to 9600 the mouse pointer doesn`t move at all. Is there a bug in X386? Shouldn`t it set the speed to 9600? Or is there any way to lock the speed to 9600 when the device is used for mouse only??? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Petri Tuomola OH2LJY | InterNet: ptuomola@clinet.fi or ptuomola@unidex.pp.fi Ylipalontie 10AC | FidoNet : Petri Tuomola@2:220/63 00670 Helsinki | UUCP : ...!mcsun!fuug!clinet!ptuomola Voice +358 0 7542881 | Data : +358 0 749094 V22bis, V21 24H -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Petri Tuomola OH2LJY | InterNet: ptuomola@clinet.fi or ptuomola@unidex.pp.fi Ylipalontie 10AC | FidoNet : Petri Tuomola@2:220/63 00670 Helsinki | UUCP : ...!mcsun!fuug!clinet!ptuomola
