The best thing to do is put the line DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM.SYS RAM ON in your config.sys then boot and run Manifest (spell?) and check for and the HIGH RAM you need to exclude. about the 16 color thing if you don't have a superVGA card I thing you only get 16 colors at the res. windows uses.
