Hi Jim if you manage to read this.  I have a question for you.  On my Compaq
386/20e PC at work I have my Windows desktop set to None, and it shows up as
a light gray.  Fine, no problem.  At home I have a Vega VGA card with the same
setup (desktop None) but it shows up as a light purple or blue.  Do you have
any idea why it isn't light gray like at work?  I'm guessing I have an old
video BIOS but not sure.  I believe its from 1988 so probably old.  I'd
appreciate any info you have.
