I will be a second year computer science student next year and during that time we will be doing a group project, which will involve displaying a plan of the computer science department. We have amiga 2000's that can run the X-windows, and I thought it would be a good idea to use them. The main things that I need to know are how to do pop-up menus, to draw lines, and display text in them. I am quite a competent c-programmer, having learnt how to program in C++ this year, so understanding the code shouldn't be any problem. We use a UNIX system here, so there will be c libraries available. Does anybody know which ones are useful? Any help or would be greatly appreciated. +-------------------+---------------------------------------------------------+ + o o Adrian + Student of Computer Science + + j J + Nottingham University, University Park, NOTTINGHAM + + \_/ Thomson + NG7 2RD ENGLAND + +-------------------+---------------------------------------------------------+ + email : ajt@Cs.Nott.AC.UK + +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
