I'm sure this has been hashed out before, so stick to e-mail replies please.  I'll
post summaries if asked...

I'm writing a file selector to go with an existing X-windows program.  The problem
I am having is how to get the directory into a scrollable widget.  This is the first 
real X-windows program I have written, so I am at quite a loss for how to do this.

Any help would be appreciated ("deadlines loom ominous in the distance")!
