I'm very proud of the fact that it is happening locally. LCB and NFB-LA
worked together on passage of the braille literacy law.

Sorry y'all, but I was a little kid in the late 50's when the civil war
was on and frankly that was their fight. That generation is passing.

Frankly, many of us have been tired of that old fight for quite some
time. It is true that there are some differences between the groups but
not so much that we cannot work together when when important issues
arise and at least here in Louisiana, those issues are arising more
often.
