As for the issue of sighted travel verses non-sighted travel, I'm not sure if it's worth further discussion. I would guess that you've never been able to see. I could be wrong and believe me it wouldn't be the first time. But, unless you've traveled as a sighted person you really don't have any basis of comparison.
