We are running nn (version 6.4.13 #22) and when I try and save a group of files selected using a * in the filename so that it saves the articles with unique names. When I do this however it reports that it can't create unique names and crashes (sometimes). It even produced a core dump once. It is running under sunos 4.1 on a network of 3/50's. I suppose I should give the full error message produced but I can't remember it! Sorry. Is this a bug in nn or am I using it incorrectly, is give the file name with a wildcard (*) in it? I hope someone can shed light on my problem, Richard York. :----------------------------------------------------------------------: : Richard York : E-mail : yorkr@p4.cs.man.ac.uk : : 1st year Computer Engineering : Janet : yorkr@uk.ac.man.cs.p4 : : Manchester University : : :----------------------------------------------------------------------: -- :----------------------------------------------------------------------: : Richard York : E-mail : yorkr@p4.cs.man.ac.uk : : 1st year Computer Engineering : Janet : yorkr@uk.ac.man.cs.p4 : : Manchester University : :
