No, this ID was Dan Bernstein's responsibility; he fixed this format
after learning of the problem.

The 10 in the article were chosen as examples of each kind of error,
and their distribution isn't representative of the whole sample.  Of
the 388 nonconforming IDs, only 38 have C News format; they seem to
result equally from NNTP woes with double @ signs and from installers
choosing nonconforming domain names.
