Concerning brown pelicans on the east coast north of Cape May,
I just had a voice mail message left on my machine overnight
saying that a BP was seen in the river inlet just south of Sandy
Hook at the northern end of the NJ coast on Friday 6/21/91.  There
were also 12+ birds seen at the Barnegat Inlet, half way up the coast,
on Monday, 6/17/91.  I haven't seen mine yet for 1991, so I've
got to get out there soon.
