A narrow front post for AR-15. One of the usual mods to a rack grade # M1A is to replace the front blade and rear aperture with NM components. So # where I can I get at least the skinny front for an AR-15? Some friends claim # they have seen them advertised but could not remember where. A random check # around the range the other day reveals that in fact there seems to be a wide # (and potentially unintended) variety in widths anyway. At worst I'll buy a # couple normal units and attack them with a dremmel tool but .... # L.L. Baston sells what they call "The Fine Sight" for the AR-15. It sells for $20. I put one on my AR15A2 for highpower competition and it really makes a difference. You can actually center your front sight on the black target center instead of simply centering the target paper as with the standard square post. The Fine Sight only comes in the old 5-detent variety but fits any rifle. I found it no more difficult to adjust than the 4-detent standard sight. I did need to get a new front sight adjusting tool though (one for the standard AR15).
