What is the net.wisdom on Gatling gun ownership?

1. Is it considered full auto or semi auto?
   (Hey! Where's the trigger?)

   Argument for semi auto: You have to move the crank 
   some for each shot.

2. Is such a device considered an antique for
   law related purposes?

3. Can a person who is not a holder of any particular
   license or permit legally build a functional 
   Gatling gun?

4. What is a good source for technical info relating
   to this device? Public library? Patent office?
