As far as I know in the Islamic Law, a.k.a. Shar'iat, a female witness is not equal to a male witness. And, one woman alone cannot even be considered as a witness in an Islamic court. As the moderators will also agree, this posting doesn't contain any "personal flames" and is definitely "related to islam". BTW, I am also e-mailing one copy to the moderator (Sheri?).
