  .zoo files have been compressed by the zoo archiver. It runs portably
in DOS, UNIX, VMS, AmigaDOS, etc. It has been posted to sources.misc as
v2.01, but v2.10 is in beta and scheduled to be available to all within
a few weeks.

  zoo v2.01 is some years old and was competitive with the systems of
that time. The new version is competitive with current compressors,
within a percent of arj and lha, a few percent better than zip (all
based on original file size).
