Map files are edited and displayed on a colour workstation with the colours defined by an RGB table. The display looks fine, but when the image file is sent to a Versatec for plotting, the colours are distorted to an unacceptable degree. Does anyone have an algorithm or conversion routine/table which could be applied to the RGB values to produce colours on the Versatec which are close to those displayed on the screen? Please E-Mail any replies.
