In the Pioneer Rewritable Laserdisc specs they have 2ch PCM audio with dubbing capability. I noticed that this player was not mentioned in the list of videodisc recorders. As far as I know the pioneer is the only player with two heads to allow bith erase and record on a single pass. The player uses a MO disc with a 1/3 full stroke access time of 0.2 Seconds and uses SMPTE time codes. A single player is all that is required, not a record unit and a seperate playback unit.
